Energy

Soon in Ségou, the first solar power station in West Africa with an output of 33 MW. A dealership agreement has been signed by the government. This dealership, bearing on a period of 25 years has been signed by the various project partners, these being the Scatec Solar Group, Africa Power and the IFC (International Finance Corporation), as well as the World Bank, of which the IFC is a offshoot.

Agriculture

Mangoes are Mali's leading export fruit with a potential production of 575,000 tons, of which 200,000 tons can be sold or used in food products. In 2016, it exported 40,457 tons of fresh mangoes.

Energy

In Mali, the demand for energy is growing at a rate of 10 to 13%. In response to this need, Albatros Energy Mali SA (Albatros) is working with the Ministry of Energy and Water to reinforce the production capacity in Kayes, by developing a 90 MW thermal power station. Investment through a public-private partnership (PPP), will contribute to meeting the increasing demand for energy, and at the same time will create 150 direct jobs and 100 indirect jobs.

BaraJii has been in operation in Burkina Faso since 2003 through its
subsidiary la Société Burkinabè des Filières Alimentaires SA (SBFA). The company has seen its export sales revenue to Mali increase substantially over the years. To that effect, Barajii Group created in 2016 Société Malienne des Filières Alimentaires SA (SMFA).
SMFA has build a plant in Sanankoroba, Bamako to produce purified water and industrialized local natural juices. The products will be commercialized under the already established brand, BaraJii. The Company started its operations in April 2017.

Agriculture

AgriZED has invested in the development of a 1000-hectare site in the commune of M'Bewani, 100 km from Ségou. The objective is to set up a culture of rice, onions, maize and potatoes. In addition, the company wants to use the waste from the plantation to produce biomass energy.
