Mali's agriculture, although the bedrock of the national economy, is struggling to find its bearings because of the sub-regional competitive environment, its low productivity and diversification, its low yields, the uncertainties of its climate, and a lack of professionalism in its businesses, among other things. In light of these difficulties, ECVAD has sought to build an agricultural company with international standards for the best of agriculture in Mali.

Stakes:

Challenges facing the management of a modern farm of 150 ha include the mastery of specific productions, such as horses, turkeys and beef breeds, control of production costs and quality standards.

Goals:

Having a modern farm with varied productions in market gardening (tomato, grapes, cucumber, etc.), cereals (corn and sorghum), fruit trees and especially improved breeds of cattle, turkeys and horses.

Needs:

the cost of the project is US $ 2.5 million, of which 30% is own funds.
